This declaration provides information about how DWL Treuhand AG (hereinafter referred to as DWL) handles personal data collected when using websites and mobile applications that DWL operates.

By using a website or a mobile application, you agree to the processing of your data in accordance with this data protection declaration and accept this data protection declaration.

Personal data is all information that relates to a specific or identifiable (natural or legal) person. This includes information such as first name and surname, title, postal address, email address, telephone number and similar information.

Collection and storage of personal data

Depending on the website or mobile application, the use of certain services requires registration and the creation of a user account. When registering, personal data such as last name, first name, place of residence, email address and possibly other data are collected and stored.

Impersonal Usage Data

When you use websites or mobile applications, the web servers register impersonal usage data (so-called log files). The log files provide information about your IP address, the last page visited, the browser used, the date and time. DWL evaluates this impersonal usage data in order to recognize trends and create statistics as well as to improve offers and products or to best align them with the needs of customers.

 

Cookies

Cookies are used on the websites and mobile applications. A cookie is a short text file that is stored on your device and is used to analyze the use of a website or mobile application and to store settings between visits to a website or mobile application. The cookies do not contain any personal data.

 

Most browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. However, you are free to set your browser so that cookies are generally rejected by selecting “do not accept cookies” in your browser setting. In this case, however, you may not be able to fully use all functions of the website.

Visitor Analytics

Visitor Analytics is a simple website analytics service which measures the traffic and visitors' general details of the customers' websites. Collecting these statistics, a website can make their visitors' experience better (e.g. which pages they visit and when, where they are approximately located, where does a user land first or if they are coming from a specific referral).

Basically, as a website owner using Visitor Analytics, we are using cookies to collect data about visitors' device type and screen size, approximate location, browser, OS, IPs, page visits, bounce rate, conversions and popular content on the website. All this data is pseudonymized and Visitor Analytics will never use the collected data to identify individual users or to match it with additional information on an individual user. Each visitor has control over the cookies placement.

 

Web analytics

To analyze the use of the websites and mobile applications, DWL also uses various analysis tools (hereinafter “tool providers”) that use cookies, including Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (further information on Google Analytics and how to deactivate the service can be found at:https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/). The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website or mobile applications is transmitted to a server of the relevant tool provider and stored there. This server may be located outside of Switzerland (in the case of Google Analytics in the USA).

 

The tool providers use this information to evaluate the use of the websites or mobile applications, for example to produce reports on website activity for DWL  and to provide other services related to website use and internet use. If necessary, this information will be passed on to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of the tool provider.

There are links to third-party websites on the websites and mobile applications. As soon as you click on this, you will leave DWL's sphere of influence. DWL assumes no content or legal responsibility for external websites to which there is a link.

 

Elements from other websites

Elements of other websites (e.g. social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube) may be used on the websites or mobile applications (hereinafter “third-party providers”). If you click on an element from a third-party provider (e.g. “Like” plug-in from Facebook), a connection to that third-party provider’s servers can be automatically established. The third party may receive data about your visit to the RASCH website. be transmitted on a mobile application. This data can under certain circumstances be assigned to your user account with a third-party provider (e.g. Facebook or Twitter account).

 

Data security

DWL operates secure data networks that comply with the applicable technical standards. Appropriate technical and organizational precautions are taken to conscientiously protect your data against loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation or unauthorized access.

Although DWL uses all reasonable means to prevent the disclosure of data due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorized access by third parties, it cannot accept any liability for such undesirable events.

 

right of providing information

The Data Protection Act grants you the right to find out, free of charge, whether and what personal data DWL stores about you. You also have the right to have incorrect information corrected and deleted. Statutory retention obligations remain reserved.

Legal basis

The exclusive legal basis for this data protection declaration is the Swiss Data Protection Act.

 

Changes and user consent to this privacy policy

DWL adapts this data protection declaration to new or changing needs. The new version will be made available to you at an appropriate location.

The current data protection declaration applies. By continuing to use DWL's website or mobile applications, users agree to the applicable data protection declaration.
